DUC Records today announced “Newspaper Man”, the new pro-union rock anthem by Gary, Indiana singer-songwriter, Scot Sier. 

​

Newspaper Man from Sier’s forth-coming "Space And Other Things" album was inspired by a real person and actual events, the first single shares the story of a disabled man who sold Sunday papers on a city corner — until the paper he worked for was sold and he lost his job:

“The papers cutting corners

They say you have to go

Union men aren’t wanted

They say you’re getting old.”

Newspaper Man is currently available on all digital streaming services. Space And Other Things will be available for streaming on April 25, 2023.
